I just purchased Newspaper 10 yesterday, and the very first thing I did was try to activate the plugins. The one-click method in the welcome tab did not work (all got “failed” messages). So I deleted them and did the manual installment as described on your site, and they’re all listed as “outdated”. I just downloaded it after purchase, so there is no reason it should be outdated. I’d like to get started, please help!

Sorry, I should specify I have a WordPress.com business account. Does that mean I have fulfilled all of these requirements?

Also, I have tried the following:
– deactivated all other non-essential plugins
– cleared cache
– deleted and re-installed tagDiv plugins
I still get the “outdated” message next to the plugins.

So far the email support has been as useless as the online support. After first asking for my website URL after a day, then waiting 24 hours to say the password wasn’t correct and I reset it, now I get the following email: “Hi,Please note that our theme will work on WordPress.com only if you have a business plan as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/eNRPaCZh, otherwise, the theme will not work correctly. If you do not have something like this, I suggest you change t WordPress.org. Thank you for your understanding!

If you look at this thread (which was copied into the email support email), I clearly state that I have a WordPress.com business account. So a week has passed and no one has been able to explain why the plugins aren’t working, a week of work that I’m now behind on. Does anyone here have any explanation? This is very frustrating that now I have to wait for Monday for the next useless response!

Sorry, for the delay for answers. The Newspaper theme will not work correctly on wordpress.com because this do not allow you to install any plugins -> http://prntscr.com/q4x1j4 -> https://ithemes.com/tutorials/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/
If you want to keep the wordpress.com you’ll not be able to use our theme on it, therefore we will be able to provide a refund for the theme
