Since the latest update, the tagDiv Composer plugin seems to be breaking our website preview URL. We deactivated all the plugins and only reactivated tagDiv Composer and the issue came back. It can be seen here:

I had this same problem, and it pointed to the Composer, but it was actually a conflict with the Clearfy plugin when you choose to optimize HTML and turn off xml-rpc. I do not know why xml-rpc is needed for previewing URLs but that’s what I found out. Hope that helps.

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you. All plugins were deactivated when we were testing. It worked well until the most recent update.

Thank you – that fixed it. Just another note, I noticed since this update, when clicking author profiles, it take readers to the homepage instead of their list of articles. Not sure if these two things are related?

Usually this is a redirect from seo, if you are using yoast seo, make these settings -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gN6IRHxVr02 the archive for author will still work, but will not be indexed.
