Hi,
The image thumbnails in my sidebar show “Edit” when you hover over them. I checked it on a couple other computers and phone where I was never logged in on and they all show the edit when you hover over the images.

Indeed the “edit” on hover appearing for me too (the link is not working, you get a 404 ), from what I know in the most cases this is a cache problem, please deactivate all non theme, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
