When scrolling down on my homepage (using “Animals” template for Newspaper) the page gets “stuck” temporarily and won’t scroll past a certain point. Is this a common issue? If so how do I trouble shoot. My VPS meets the system requirements.

If the theme requirements are set -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, please provide a link to your website where I can check this problem.

This problem can be from the larges images that you have set on homepage, it take some time until is loading -> https://i.imgur.com/sTgoq9Y.png remove these images and the website will load faster.
