Hi.
I recently installed newspaper theme and i use WP rocket as my caching plugin. However, when I click on status, it doesn’t show that the theme recognizes I have a cache plugin in place.
there is also another issue. MY hosting provider changed WP Memory Limit from 40 to 128 but its also not updating and its not showing the value they changed it to on the status. How can I solve these issues?

The caching plugin option was made for the Wp Super Cache only because that is the recommended plugin to use. But if WP Rocket works for you, then you can ignore that.
As for the WP memory limit please make sure you’ve cleared your cache but that is an issue that has to be resolved by the host.

hi, Im running into a weird issue. When I attempt to make the menu visible (for mobile users) in the theme settings its not working. I tried everything,changing the color and the only thing that appears in the mobile is the search button. despite enabling the menu to appear using all methods. plz help. how can i make it appear?

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

i’ve checked the issue and after disabling the cache plugin WP Rocket, the menu appeared only on posts, when i click on the homepage, the menu disappears.
can you plz explain why do u have compatibility issues with such a huge cache plugin? and is there any way to solve it? I pay for WP Rocket and i am comfortable with it, i don’t want to switch

Unfortunately, WP Rocket plugin, has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry!
Indeed there are customers that use this plugin and they say that is working good, I think that all is from the settings that you need to make for this plugin, unfortunately we do not know these settings. We recommend to use WP Super Cache with the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

hi. last time you updated the theme, I lost all my settings and adjustments I made to the theme, and I had to re-design the blog again and it took me a lot of hours to get it right back to where it was, so I am hestiant to update the theme now.

You need to make first a full backup to the theme and database, after that you can make the update, if something is going wrong, you can restore the backup to for database and theme.

the question is… does this often happen with your theme? Its not supposed to happen but rarely. I lost all progress I made, my question is… why did it set back to default settings after I updated it? whats the use of updating if I have to restore the older version if the update goes wrong?

I have noticed that since I updated the theme, instagram posts are not getting embedded properly, they always end up showing the link, not the actual post. However, when I edit the post in wordpress everything is fine and it shows me the preview but when i publish, its gone and only shows the link not clickable
