Heya! Renewed my support JUST so I could get the help I needed today.
My site: MilkyWayPhotographers.com has been a battle.
What is most likely the root source of my problems are plugins. But WHICH ones?
I have deactivated all of them to edit the site down to no longer need Standard Pack. I was forced to use a front page news article template that looks worse than what I want just to fix my site for removing the Standard Pack and hopefully benefitting from the speed fix.
The following are constant errors & issues I run into:
- Cannot save changes in TagDiv Composer. Save Icon just spins and spins the loading circle and never commits the save.
- Even the new cloud templates will allow ONE save. After the first edit I can no longer edit them. I have to delete the use and recreate it and make ALL my edits in the FIRST ATTEMPT otherwise my save won’t commit.
- My BBPress forum simply will NOT accept a CSS change to fix the background of the main DIV container from anything but white ever since the move to v.10
- Shortcodes are hit and miss. I recently resolved a problem that persisted for several months by no longer using the RAW HTML frame but something else that I cannot check because my page won’t load in TagDIV composer for the reason I list next.
- CONSTANTLY get the error message “This was not created with TagDIV composer” even though EVERYTHING has been made with tagDIV composer.
- Regularly I cannot get pages to be recognized or editable in the TagDIV composer. Something that used to work consistently is now even more broken than it used to be IS MY EXPERIENCE. Hoping this can be fixed.
That is a good enough list for now.
I use large paid for plugins like YOUZER and WPACHIEVEMENTS which come with little plugin requirements. But the remaining plugins I have can be used or cut in SOME cases.
Which ones are incompatible? I do NOT know. When I try removing them by deactivating them it doesn’t fix anything. AND I AM NOT WILLING TO DELETE THEM when I have users and their submitted images, galleries and data at risk of being lost.
What support can I get to look in these issues?
Yes there are many, I would settle on TagDIV composer working 100% of the time.

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
The “Current page was not created by TD Composer” message or the status of those custom fields or if you update the page from backend, those will not cause any problems.
Also most of the problems are caused by untested plugins, therefore we recommend to make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If you want us to check this problem, I think that it will be better to make a staging website and set a copy of your website there, in this way we’ll not be problems when we investigate these problems, for this you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel.
