Hi,
The theme crop automatically the thumb size set in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/IJe27ab.png
If the images look blurry on homepage, what you can do is to use some flex block or a Big grid flex you have some more control over the featured image using this element -> https://i.imgur.com/9eZ0pJe.png
The crop is set in two files inside the theme, one if theme is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php and the other one for flex elements -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_config.php
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Thanks for the reply Calin. I understand that Big Grid Flex would give me more control over the featured image, but I have two questions.
A) Would I be able to move the crop around so that I can choose what’s in the center of the featured image? Or would I just have control over the overall size of it?
B) Big Grid Flex seems far more complex than Big Grid 1, is there some kind of tutorial so that I learn how to set it up?
Thanks,
Hi,
a. You’ll have control over both options -> https://i.imgur.com/JxCBiLs.png -> https://i.imgur.com/JEMH1OW.png -> https://i.imgur.com/2ZpZTj8.png
b. Unfortunately we do not have a tutorial for this, only some short guides -> https://tagdiv.com/try-new-flexible-big-grids-with-newspaper-theme/ -> https://tagdiv.com/?s=flex -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the only alignment is this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OIEmF4jZ top-bottom for left-right is no option.
Thank you!
