I have succesfully installed the newletter plugin and it is working great on Desktop(forwarding to mail chimp). I have however a few questions:
1) can I somehow add a “Name” field and pass this to Mailchimp(or whatever provider)
2) I have my site using the AMP tag div pluging. It is working rather well but I canno see the newsletter plugin appear in the mobile+AMP version via my phone. Is there any way to allow it to appear?

1. Unfortunately the newsletter will provide only the email field and subscribe button, if you want to have more fields, then you can set the code for mailchimp in appearance> widgets> in a text element -> https://i.imgur.com/SCYJLz0.png or using tagDiv Composer in a column text in text area -> https://i.imgur.com/nzkfTu6.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mdPpuaM.png
2. There are two options to display the mail chimp on mobile or amp, you can use the responsive option like this -> https://i.imgur.com/VGQf7aU.png or you set the code for mailchimb in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/C7wpnvC.png
