I noticed that the link does not work when I click on “follow” (it contains the link to instagram twice) on the front page (http://egzostive.com/).
I corrected now by filling out only the ID, so the link works.
But now the plugin window no longer features the number of followers, and the 0 indicated dissuades visitors to click the link.
I believe the stay connected plugin should be syncronised with the social counter plugin’s ID, because if I include the full link (https://www.instagram.com/egzostive/#) it leads to a wrong link, and if only onclude the ID, then gets to the right link but the counter is at 0.

So it was not set up as part of the template? I had in mind that this was a theme specific plugin (https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/).
