Post Filters/Labels

Hi,
What do you exactly call this group of post types on the theme: Popular, Recommended, Trending, Latest, Featured ?
I do not want to call them categories as I use that term for more technical groupings such as the one in my main menu (tech, science, fashion, etc.) and may create confusion. Do they fall under taxonomy or filters? Also, does the theme automatically sort the posts according to which ones are popular, latest, etc.? Where can I find the settings to edit and customize these filters/taxonomies? If I need to add these filters/taxonomy labels, how can I do so? I tried to add them to my categories so now they come mixed up with the real/technical categories, which doesn’t seem right 🙁

Hi,

That depend on the demo you are using, but most of theme are only blocks that have set some filters on them to display a category of post, for example Popular, Recommended, Trending … all these can be edited using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/bD2RCvO.png
