I updated the Newspaper theme to install a new demo (Gadgets Pro), but I have a few problemes:
1. I can’t upload images to gallery (the “select images” button doesn’t work any more.
2. Category filter in Flex Block 2 doesn’t work with every category.

1. Using our theme, you can set a slider gallery using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-slider-gallery/ to can achieve this you need to use the classic editor, or the classic element from the Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ya1YTbM.png also you can use the Guttenberg gallery -> https://i.imgur.com/clx1uoo.png (this will look something like this https://i.imgur.com/nX0SNvN.jpg).

2. The category filter set on flex elements is set for more types on pages are using these filters -> https://i.imgur.com/8oUUnxK.png in cloud template for author this one -> https://i.imgur.com/XWQcSY2.jpg for cloud category template -> https://i.imgur.com/ssfnW98.png and these are for single post template -> https://i.imgur.com/A0ATvsa.png

As I can see now is displaying the new version of gallery on your website -> https://i.imgur.com/42bmVN7.jpg
Now is possible that the plugins that you are using can overwrite the theme options for galley, if is possible please make a test and disable all non theme plugins and check again, if there is still a problem, please make a new gallery and check the results.
