Instagram footer not working – no images

Dear developers,

the Instagram feed integrated above the footer has stopped working. There are no images displayed, only icons for missing images. When I inspect the source and try to open the image url in the source, I only get an error message from Instagram saying “URL signature expired”.

We have tried updating everything, disabled and re-enabled instagram in the theme panel, but no success. We have currently the Newspaper version 10.3.6.1 installed on our website.

How do I proceed to fix this?

I don’t know if it’s relevant, but the site is running with these security plugins: iThemes Security Pro and Shield Security Pro.

Hi,
Please make sure that you have set the Instagram account as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
Also make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, please replace the current account Instagram with cocacola and see if there are some improvements, if yes, set back your account.

Hi, same problem for me. Instagram images not showing since last update. For example, at the end of: https://www.leyendasdetoledo.com/que-ver-en-toledo-el-domingo/

I try to re-connect my Instagram account at theme panel… Not working.

Any help? Thanks.

I think that the problem was only from cache, now the Instagram images are displaying -> https://i.imgur.com/mji6Vz9.jpg

Hi @Calin, No, it still doesn’t work. What you are seeing right now is because I am using a secondary account that does work. When I put in the main one (@leytol), it shows up as the next capture:

Hi leytol,
So if is working for other Instagram id’s it should work for yours too, if you want we can take a look, for this you need to make a full backup and send us an email to at contact@tagdiv.com include a link to this topic in the email.

Hello!

I´m having the same issue as Leytol, our main Instagram account (revistainsieme) shows broken images (URL signature expired) but other account works fine.

Hi revistainsieme,
Please try these steps: remove the Instagram account from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/nUb5Twv.png clear all cache and set again the Instagram account to get a new time until the account will expire, clear all cache and check the results.
If this is now working, please change your Instagram id with a default one, for example “envato” and see if the feeds are provide, if yes then set back your id and the problem should be solved.
If you checked all above suggestions and there is still a problem, please send us an email to at contact@tagdiv.com and let us know about this problem and will check it.
