Hi, I’ve just installed Newspaper on my staging site but unfortunately, the Theme panel doesn’t save. Once you hit the save button it just continually does this

Refreshing the page does not help either. I have read similar posts on this and I have disabled all plugins except for the ones that come with the theme. I have no security and no firewall to cause problems on the server.
I see a failed to load resource 403 error in chrome inspect

but have no idea how to sort this out hope you can help as I’d like to get on with the designing.

Im having the same problem did you find a fix ??
My issue was due to a previous install of wordfence. .htaccess still had lines of code blocking the theme panel, not sure if this helps your issue.
i have wordfence on in the main directory of my website this could be the problem
