Dear team,
I created a custom post type, and now I would like to use a template for these new posts. Thus, I created the template (single post) starting from a cloud library model.
How can I assign the template to the CPT?
I do not have a child theme (ref. https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/).
Thank you,
regards
Pietro Costanzo

Hello!
Implementing CPT is on our developers to do list and they are working on this. At the moment there are not much updates released. This is an ongoing process. Please let us know what you are looking to achieve exactly so we can take a look and see what can be done.
Thank you!
Hi Vlad,
I was trying with the plugin custom-post-type-ui and advanced custom fields to generate some generic post template for some custom post types.
As an example we would like show on the frontend an overview of different doctors offices and they should have a detail page. Every office has custom fields like opening hours, address, name of doctors, thumbnail image,…
For this I would like to build a frontend template in tagdiv to show the data on the website.
Thanks, Dennis
Hello!
Does your plugin can provide this interface as a shortcode ? If yes you could render that post type in the theme using Column text element as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/w6mUclfq0x2
Let me know if this worked.
Thank you!
Hi Vlad,
the Plugin provides shortcodes (https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/shortcode/)
But how I would loop thru the posts for example that I can show for each Post a card with thumbnail and office name on an overview page?
Thanks, Dennis
