I have the following question, I work for a company and we are re-designing the blog and they want to have a special feature on the frontpage of the blog.
They want to display the 3 latest posts in one place and the latest posts of a couple different categories in another place on the frontpage, now comes the hard part, to remove duplicate content they want to make it in a way, that if a post does appear in the latest posts section, that it does not simultaneously appear in the latest posts of the special category.

I hope it does make sense and you guys can understand the issue.
One solution, we found, would be to create a special category, in which we would add the 3 latest articles by hand and replace them later on, also by hand.
Would there be any way to make the process automatic?
