webp image files

Dear all,

I’ve made some test with webp image files made with photoshop (I would like to include them for seo, dimensions and speed reasons), I changed funciton.php to include them in my site. They work fine in the article but I can’t see them in feautured and thumbnail, as you can see here http://www.greenstart.it and in this article https://www.greenstart.it/norvegia-da-record-a-dicembre-2020-le-auto-elettriche-e-plug-in-toccano-l87-delle-vendite-24928

Could you help me?
