After the 10.3.9.1 update, I lost access to TD Composer

This morning I updated to Newspaper 10.3.9.1 and immediately I lost all access to the TD Composer tool, getting a “This site can’t be reached” error. I had been using TD Composer earlier and had made no other changes to the website or any plugins. I tried rolling back Newspaper to the 10.3.69 version but it still does not work.

Looking for other avenues to try…

I also tried deactivating ALL of the non-Tag-Div plugins and still I cannot access TD Composer. Very frustrating…

I tried to access TD Composer via Firefox and this time I got a different error message, something about TD Composer was trying to take my SSL website to a non-secure page?

Hello,

Usually, this error appears when the requirements aren’t set like in our guide, please make sure you have added the limit also in your wp-config.php file, in config is WP_MEMORY_LIMIT not PHP Memory Limit (there is a typo, sorry) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
please increase all lower requirements and follow all steps;
Also, please check your cache and delete it even from your browser.

Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2 Multiple replies in your topic will make it harder for us to reach it.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Yes, I had to add the mod_substitute statement to the .htaccess file and it is now working. It’s strange that TD Composer worked without it before the latest update. Is this something new?

Hello,

The mod_substitute depend on the host, plugins are you using, isn’t related only to our theme, we introduced this option in the requirements to avoid these problems.

Thank you!
