How to hide default site tagline

I am creating my frontpage from scratch and I want to use only the site logo/title and hide the default site tagline “DISCOVER THE ART OF PUBLISHING”. I have tried to follow a solution suggested in the forum regarding this for another member and that is to enter a space in the tagline field under Theme Panel – Logo but this does not work for me. The default tagline still appears.

Hi Sheik,
Usually, this this text is set in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/M8Lu08K.png and for standard headers can be remove by setting a blank space, also for pro demos that use cloud templates, you can edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer, click on the logo and check those options https://i.imgur.com/aEbpcli.jpg also if you have the default pro demo, the logo image contains the tagline.
I hope this will help you!

Thanks but I tried to set a blank space but this does not work. I can’t simply get rid of the default tagline. I can’t even replace it with another tagline. The default tagline is just stuck under the main title.

Again I repeat here, I am not using any prebuilt website but starting from scratch in creating a site.

Also when I go to Theme Panel under Headers I can’t see the header styles. Please let me know how to resolve these issues.

Hello!

If your settings are missing, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active. If you want to restore a backup from Theme panel -> Import/Export, then please do not press “Reset”.

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Yes installed Standard Pack and things seem fine.

Thank you.
