I purchased the support for this theme a few days ago because my support had run out.
But I haven’t gotten support yet, so I am trying again.
luforum.com is a college news site, and I need to get it fixed as soon as possible.
I was told to increase the PHP, which I did. Then I got three warning showing up on the home page which all say: Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/luforum/www/www/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 352.
When I sent in a ticket I was told to degrade WordPress prior to 5.5, which I did.
It did not fix the problem. I tried deactivating the plugins. That did not help.

Now abut the problem that you reported, it looks that your website is using a them version from 2016 https://i.imgur.com/p8TM6IY.png Newspaper 7.3 so for this theme version you must have an old WordPress too, if you want to update the WordPress then you need to update the theme version too. Right now the latest version it is 11.2 and this will look like a new theme for you.
Right now I see that you have WordPress 5.4.7 and there are no Warning, but if you want to have access to the newest options and security you must update both WP and theme. I recommend to test it first on a subdomain, localhost or stinging to accommodate with the new theme. Also in cans that you update the theme, first make sure that you have a full backup for your website and database.
