When I write a post I’m generally doing so within the admin login. I’d like to be able to add a section under each post showing who wrote that post. I saw the author box but I don’t see a way to change the author or select a different one. Am I going about this in the right manner or is there a better means to get this done?
Each post may have a different author but it will always be uploaded by me using the admin name. If I can’t use that author box is there a means to setup something that looks similar with an author photo, quick information about them like their twitter handle or some other type of text? It be nice to be able to save that where I can easily choose those authors as needed.

So if I understood correctly, you upload all posts, and is displayed your name, right?
You can add the authors in Users and set the information about they -> https://i.imgur.com/ktaxGCe.png -> https://i.imgur.com/cSW39LV.png and set the author of the post -> https://i.imgur.com/ogfDaSh.png and on the post you can add the element Single Post author box => https://i.imgur.com/8HmoPLl.png

Unfortunately, there isn’t another option to change the author of the post.
