I am new to your theme, but I saw lots of good review, so I bought it for my new project. I need some customization for my client, and I would like to ask here if you can help me with it.
1) I need to transfer 1000+ posts, with at least a featured image, but WP default import fails to add featured images (Checked “Download and import file attachments”, and I have also tried with the export media plugin export-media-with-selected-content/). Do you have any recommendations?
2) My Client wants to use advertisements on the empty sides of the website, using the “AdRotate” plugin (classic shortcode for frontend). For better reference check the screenshot https://prnt.sc/zhBRwQM5Yvgp

2. For adding left and right ads, the only option that our theme has is to use a background image with a link on it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-background-ads/
I think that to add the shortcode from the AdRotate plugin to be display on left and right sidebars you’ll need some custom work for the ads positions.

2. If you can let me know where it should be set the php code of AdRotate, then I will provide the path to that file.
For example if you need to set the code in the header.php of file, then it should be set on this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/header.php
If the banners appear in incognito, then the problem is with an extension from the browser, or maybe from cookies. Please try other browsers as well.

Unfortunately, not all the files can be set in a child theme. That filed that was edited normally should be just copy and past in the child theme (there is no need to set it in an subfolder).

The weather widget will automatically translate itself to the language from the theme panel if a translation is available – https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/ so it all depends on the language set if there is no automatic translation for example if the location in the Bengali language, then it will not be translated.
Maybe you can use another weather plugin or a plugin that translate plugins.

Unfortunately, there is no option for that. It can be achieved only if you edit the theme files. The file used for that is this one -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/includes/shortcodes/td_block_mega_menu.php and the option for sort that can be used is this one -> https://i.imgur.com/AdWM952.png

There were no changes for the source option, this is still in the Post settings in general tab -> https://i.imgur.com/uki35XY.png
Maybe you have some options that are not enable, or maybe some plugins are overwriting the theme options. Please make a test using only the theme plugins.

Do you have any suggestions how to fix the problem. The client used this plugin to add a a lot of logos. :/

I think that this plugin can be made compatible with the theme only with custom work.
Unfortunately, we didn’t tested this kind of plugins, so it is hard to recommend one.
What I can recommend is to try some free plugins:

It is getting really weird with carousel logo plugins. I have found another one (https://wordpress.org/plugins/logo-slider-wp/), this one does not hide “Post Settings”, but breaks the text editor in your composer 🙁
I really don’t understand why your theme have problems with logo sliders, maybe you guys should investigate it…
Except for that bug, everything else is working really well and the website is fast, even with me implementing a custom radio player, custom advertisement, and custom rotating several categories.
I had to manually input the shortcode in order to proceed with my work. The website, for now, is finished I will deploy it like this, I hope the client doesn’t invent more changes to the website 😀

I’m glad that you manage to resolve the situation, even if it was needed to manually input the shortcode.
The appearance of the site is pleasing, especially since the homepage is a special custom with side banners.
It is possible that the code from those plugins to overwrite the on from our theme.
We prepper a theme update and we hope that this will resolve some js conflicts.

I just checked the system and now looks to work ok.
About the sidebar ads, with the Newsmag theme the sidebar ads can be set using our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-sidebar-ads/ also it can be used a plugin for this, like AdRotate.

It says “drag the [tagDiv] Ad box to the sidebar that you want your ad to be displayed on”. I can only drag that thing on pages built with the visual composer. I want to add it to my posts and none of my posts were built with the visual composer.

The ad box element need to be drag and drop in widget sidebar -> https://i.imgur.com/X9Iagbk.png is no need for a builder to do this.
Also, to this it on posts you can set the sidebar as global https://i.imgur.com/cA9L1xF.png or you can assign a different sidebar individual per post -> https://i.imgur.com/bFMfzjY.png

I followed the instructions and set it up. Do you know how long it will take before the ads show up on the sidebar? Also, is there a way for you to confirm I set it up correctly. It should be on all posts. Example:
