I can’t update the Newspaper theme, any help appreciated.
I have version 8.6 and have just bought a new license to try update.
Instead, when I click “update” on system status, it sends me to purchase another license on envato, which I have already done. On top of that, under WordPress udpates, there is nothing to update for the theme, although I can see version 8.7.1 is available on the system status tab.
Could anyone in support please help?

When I try to uninstall the theme, and reinstall the new version, my site breaks though.

Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. Also, please do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, etc.
