I cannot get Twitter Cards to load when trying to post my content on Twitter

Hi all,

I recently built my website with the Newspaper Theme, and everything is running smoothly… with the exception of posting my content on social media. Every time I try to post to Twitter (I don’t have facebook), I get the generic twitter preview with a small image. Also, the small image never populates my featured image from my post.

I have activated the Yoast SEO plugin, enabled all of the social media meta data options, set the twitter card option to “large image and summary,” and yet nothing has changed. I’ve tried searching through other forum posts on the same topic, but nothing seems to help.

When I run my post through the Twitter Card Validator, this is what I receive:

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 26 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary_large_image tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully

Also, it always says “Unable to Render Card Preview”

I’m no longer sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
