Is it possible to use multiple cloud templates for products in a WooCommerce shop? I have created 2 cloud templates for Woo products, but so far I can only apply the global template. I’m trying to change templates for a certain product category in the shop. is that possible?
Hello @dita999 !
Yes. You can access the product and assign the template you want just clicking on the product: https://prnt.sc/8zMEaivyS8M- without having a global one(one for all products).
It is the same for the product category also.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
I am not able to get this to work. I published the new template, and I am able to change the template when I preview the page:
I choose the non-global template, and the page reloads to the new template. But if I close and reload the page the global template always comes back.
The product I’m testing this on is a draft. Does it have to be live for the template change to stick?

Hello @dita999 !
When a template is assigned, it should look like this in green: https://prnt.sc/LhxgWgwiNKU5
Please click on the template once in order to assign it to that page.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
That’s what I have been doing, but the template always reverts to the global when I reopen the page.
I just tried it again and the new template name turned green when it was applied to the page:

Everything looked good. Then I closed the tab, clicked the preview button again (without refreshing or editing the back end), and now the global template is applied and the new template’s name is black again:

I can apply a new template but it doesn’t stay applied for some reason. Am I missing a step?
Hello @dita999 !
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Examine some other potential interfering factors: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
