Product page for simple product returns an error

Hi,

I am working on a site with woocommerce and the product page does not work for a simple product.

Steps that reproduce the issue on the site:
– create product as simple product
– the product gets listed in the catalog
– the product page returns an error: “There has been a critical error on this website.”
– after changing the product to a variable product, the product page works fine.

When changing to one of the free templates the product page work for both types of products, simple and variable products.

Thank you for your quick reply. I can understand the assumption that it should work as your test shows the correct result. But when I do some further tests, I find that when using TD composer adding the WooCommerce shortcode Woo Add to Cart makes the page fail. In fact, I removed everything from the page and obviously it shows a blank page with the header and footer, and more importantly no error. When I add the cart shortcode, the page fails.

Any suggestion on what I can do to troubleshoot?
