Please check the console (ctrl + right-click -> Inspect ) to see which errors you encountered there. Examine some other potential interfering factors: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

I followed these steps, but I’m still experiencing the same issue.
I’m using Newspaper Version 11.4.2. I attempted to update the theme to the latest version, and I wish I hadn’t. The entire website became ruined, with a lot of code on the home page not displaying properly, even with the prebuilt theme ‘The Rimont.’ I lost many changes, and I had to revert to the old backup, which is currently at version 11.4.2. Now, I’m confused about what I can do in this situation.
