Manually updating from v9.8 to newest version – will my posts still exist?

Hi
I have Newspaper v9.8 which doesn’t allow me to update automatically.

If I deleted the theme and install the newest version, will all of my posts still remain?
Will I have to set up the theme settings again from scratch?
