Good day Support
After updating to the latest version of the Newspaper theme (12.6.2) the Mega menu is not showing the down arrow / or showing up on hover. When I inspect in the console, I can see the menu items.
Cache is cleared, I de activated any JS and CSS optimisation and still nothing showed up.
I do see a MIME issue in console but not sure if that is causing this. Please could you assist?

Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall the tagDiv mobile theme from Newspaper plugins and clear all cache.
If the problem is still there, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

I tried all the above (although we do not use the mobile theme at all), but after recreating the child-theme temporarily with only the 2 basic files, the menu worked as expected.
In the child-theme, there is a /parts folder, with some files that were edited to add dynamic widgets. e.g.. header-style-3.php
Is there still support for this?
I also tried a workaround using a cloud template:: https://www.cbn.co.za/tdb_templates/header-template-3-2/ As you will notice here, there is no scrolling on the categories / menu items on the left.
If this scrolling is possible then I can work with this.
Alternately could you or the developers perhaps give any other advice on how to keep the current menu to work (that has been used for several years) – in the /parts legacy folder?

The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue for that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme.
You can set the size of the mega menu container in the tagdiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/NJSp57HoXTs3, so you won’t need any scroll bars.

Do I understand correctly that TagDiv has withdrawn support for the legacy theme. That we should use custom development to regain the scroll feature on the menu? I have to ask – I must answer to bosses higher up. ~ Too many subcategories (for size setting) – without the scrollbar it becomes a useless function as you cannot see the articles thumbs.
I have also tried to add a page as a menu, as seen here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/menus-newsmag/ – for some reason the page does not show up – what type of page can be added? – the instructions was a little limited (can composer be used?). Is this something you can assist with?

You can add any page there, but you should specify the ID of that page.
