Hello,
I am currently using the Newspaper theme and am trying to temporarily disable ads on my website until I’m approved for Google AdSense. However, when I disable the ad options from the theme panel, the changes do not appear to reflect on the live site — ads are still showing.
I’ve cleared my cache and tried different browsers, but the issue persists. Could you please advise on how to properly disable all ads across the site until I’m ready to re-enable them?

The pre-built website you are using is using the ad box element to display banner and the ad box element have 3 options, to set the code source from the theme pane, to insert in that ad box a banner (image) and to set in the ad box de code directly. In this case the banner is used and you need to manually edit it using tagDiv Composer go on each banner and remove it from image ad tab – https://i.imgur.com/ynFCd3b.png – https://i.imgur.com/MsgyFdu.png

Thank you for your response. If I do it this way how will I insert the ad box back in when I am ready to place ads? Can you also please explain what the purpose of this on theme panel is then if you cannot disable without removing the entire element? https://imgur.com/a/4cWspke

The process is the same, if you want an ad in a place you can set the ad box element in that place using tagDiv Composer and use one of the 3 provided options of use ads – https://i.imgur.com/9aEF3ae.png

There are no problems, the options are working, but maybe you misunderstand how those options are working. The theme panel is only a holder for the ads code and the ad box is a theme element that can be set using tagDiv Composer and this provides the option to choose the ad sources from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/NCkRFCc.png or to set an image as banner directly in ad box – https://i.imgur.com/7auZwYq.png or to set the code you want directly in ad box – https://i.imgur.com/xVTkR9W.png
