Hello,
We have a guide for this, so you can add an extra tab under my account to display the posts unlocked with credits https://forum.tagdiv.com/credit-system/
Thank you!
Hi,
In “MyAccount” / “Page Account” / “Custom Pages,” I don’t have the option to add a page, except for the “+Add” button in the top left corner of the screen.
In “Custom Pages,” I have three columns: “Page ID,” “Title,” and “Icon.”
I click the green “+Add” button and choose Post List, but when I drag it, I can’t place it anywhere within “Page Account.”
So, my question is: Should I add a WordPress page called “my track usage credits” (or whatever I want), add a “Post List” to that page, segment it with “credit_cost,” and then go to “Custom Pages” in MyAccount/Page Account and add the Page ID in the first column on the left? Or how should I proceed to achieve the result described in the documentation you provided?
Currently, in MyAccount/Page Account / Custom Pages, I have three items inserted: “Dashboard,” “Account Settings,” and “My Articles.” However, on my public My Account page, I have the following sections or links: Dashboard, Account Details, Subscriptions, and Logout. Does this mean that if I add a new page in “Custom Pages,” it will be reflected in the left-hand menu of My Account? What will happen to “Subscriptions” and “Logout,” as they don’t currently appear in “Custom Pages,” and I’m concerned they might be removed from My Account?
How can I proceed step by step
Sincerely,
Hi,
You’ll need to create a new page using tagDiv Composer and add the Post List element, as described in this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/credit-system/ once the page is ready, take the page ID and add it under “Custom Pages”, where you’ll see three columns: Page ID, Title, and Icon.
Set the title you want for that section/tab and choose an icon. This extra page will then appear in the dropdown menu and in the My Account section when a user is logged in.
The Logout option is simply a button that disconnects the user from the site, and Subscriptions is included by default and will also be displayed.
Thank you!
Hi,
We’ve already created and configured the page for the user’s purchased items, and it looks great. Thank you so much for the clarification.
However, in the “General” tab of the “Post List,” there’s a checkbox that, if unchecked, prevents the user from deleting items. Nevertheless, in the item list itself, there are three vertical dots that allow the user to view and delete the item. When I click to delete an item, even though I’ve configured it to prevent the user from deleting items, a confirmation window appears asking, “Are you sure you want to delete…?”
I’d like to know if this option to delete an item removes it from their list of purchased items or if it deletes the item from the journal’s database and permanently removes it from the website.
Hi,
The option will usually allow only the articles made by that user to be deleted – https://i.imgur.com/B7KQ9cj.png (if the user made/published an article, then he will be able to delete it).
Thank you!
Hi,
If teh checkbox is unchecked, then the delete option will be displayed only for administrators (users with admin rol) – https://i.imgur.com/kKIhxbs.png – https://i.imgur.com/zaztRxh.png for the rest of authors will display only the view option – https://i.imgur.com/niAs6Fr.png
