I thought this would be easy, but after trying it, and then googling it (and hey ChatGPT too), I’m missing something.
My goal is to edit a page and place an AdRotate element above my main menu. My template has an “Empty Column” above my main menu so I tried adding an “AdRotate” element but that didn’t show up in the list of available elements. Then I tried “Image Ad” but couldn’t figure out where to put the short code. What am I doing wrong?

Use teh shortcode provided by the adrotate plugin and set it using tagDiv Composer in the element ad box in the tab for custom code – https://i.imgur.com/ilblUGp.png
Thank you. That was easy. However, now that I’ve inserted the custom code, I saved the changes to the page. When I refreshed the page, I see the ad appear for a second and then it disappears.
Just in case it wasn’t clear that I had a follow-up question, I’m writing again. If you can help me debug why the ad might be disappearing less than a second after it appears on screen, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you!

And now that I’ve captured all of this for you, it looks like the ad is showing up. Maybe it was a caching issue? What’s the best way to clear the cache so I can see changes consistently?

Thank you for providing the screenhosts with the ad box settings.
I see that you have in the General tab to get the ad code from the header – https://prnt.sc/Y8D1_IHiMDvv. Please set that field to none to not use that option. Next, the image ad tab looks ok, there is no banner set. And the Custom ad tab, this is the code you want to display, so you need to make sure teh code is set only there, and you use only that option. Currently, it will try to display the one from the header zone rather than one from the custom ad zone.
Another solution is to set the shortcode in the element External Shortcode (available in Newspaper v12.7.4)
