Hi there,
I use the Newsmag template theme for WordPress. My site is The Berkeley Observer (www.berkeleyobserver)
I’m just now noticing (after some mobile readers brought it to my attention), that the content on my webpages is missing when viewed on mobile. However, it displays normally on a desktop/laptop computer.
How can I resolve/fix this issue on mobile? That content on the webpages is important. Most of my readers are mobile.
Here are a few webpage examples that show empty content in the body on mobile. Only the headline shows:
https://www.berkeleyobserver.com/promote-your-business/
https://www.berkeleyobserver.com/%f0%9f%93%a2-public-notices/
https://www.berkeleyobserver.com/publish-your-press-release/
https://www.berkeleyobserver.com/submit-an-obituary/
Thank you for any assistance in solving this issue.
Hi there. Thank you for your response.
I see that specific plugin that you mention. However, I’m afraid that if I disable it, my site will no longer be mobile or AMP-friendly.
According to the plugin description: “The Mobile Theme makes your website lighter and faster on mobile. Together with the AMP plugin, it provides the best solution for your website.”
Is there another solution?
Thanks!
So I tried what you said… and while it did make the content on the webpages appear, it really messed up the look of the story content and how the mobile pages looked to readers. For example, on the homepage, everything looked very disorganized/ a mess.

Hi,
Newsmag theme can be used without the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, and teh responsive version will be the one that will be in use. On pages, the responsive version can be adjusted using the tagDiv Composer https://prnt.sc/aTOF_1z8F9Ka https://prnt.sc/ZVlmVgAd3UP6
Related to the Mobile theme plugin, when this is used, it will be like you’ll have a different theme for the mobile version that will not display the responsive version and it will be need to create the mobile version for each page on the mobile editor https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/
Also, in case that you want to use the tagDiv Mobile theme on amp and the responsive version on mobile, you can set under the Newsmag > theme panel > Mobile theme in mobile settings the mobile theme to be used only for amp – https://prnt.sc/VU4pNRQk06ns
Thank you!
