My task is to redesign an existing website (zooszeged.hu). During the development period, I am using the subdomain new.zooszeged.hu. Here I am developing using the Newspaper template. When I am finished, I want to disconnect the old website and rename the new.zooszeged.hu domain to zooszeged.hu. How should I proceed so that the Newspaper settings and license are not damaged?

In this situation, the best approach is to use a migration plugin such as Duplicator: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ This plugin will migrate everything exactly as it is now, including automatically adjusting the links.
After that, the remaining step will be related to the license key. The key can be used on two domains: the live domain and a testing (staging) domain. Once the testing domain is no longer in use, you can contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the key that was used on the staging site. We will then check the key and remove the staging domain from the license, since it will no longer exist.
Currently, there is a new.zooszeged.hu site where we are building the new site, and a localhost.zooszeged.hu site where we are testing the elements and developing them. Newspaper is registered on both sites. When we want to activate the zooszeged.hu site, the idea is to redirect the old zooszeged.hu to the new.zooszeged.hu IP address with the domain transfer. When building the site, we made sure to use only relative links, so we would not use Duplicator. On the current interface, I see that “unassign” is active in the Newspaper / my License panel. The question is, if I deactivate the Newspaper license on the new.zooszeged.hu site and then transfer the domain to zooszeged.hu, if I reactivate the Newspaper license for the zooszeged.hu domain, will the site crash, or will the settings remain and work correctly?

The site will no longer crash, but you will not be able to update the theme, edit pages with tagDiv Composer, or import items from the Cloud Library.
I understand what you want to do, and it can be done. However, once it is completed, please let us know so we can also submit a request to have the license key checked. This will ensure that only the active domains are displayed for the key under Newspaper > My License.
