Hi,
There are a few options that should be enabled so you can use the popular 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days.
Under the theme pane > Post settings, make sure that the “SHOW POST VIEWS” under post and custom post type is enabled – https://prnt.sc/9ZgYXf68s0ts then enable the “Ajax view count (keep counting with cache plugins)” – https://prnt.sc/yU9nCBscpjs_
Under Theme panel > blocks and settings, make sure that the option ” 24/48 HOURS & 7 DAYS POST SORTING” is enabled – https://prnt.sc/kekH1436n7Xu
The last thing is to make sure that on the single post template, you have the element view post count – https://prnt.sc/g_8ADbYD4eK5

Hi,
The situation you provide in teh screenrecorec appes to be like there is an object cache applied on teh backend and when the page is refresh the settings are brought back from the cache https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/https://prnt.sc/nM-cb6wOMRDS
Also, after the options are enabled in the theme panel, you’ll also need to add with tagDiv Composer the element post view count to the single post template with tagDiv Composer

Hi Calin,

Unfortunately, it is still showing as disabled. When I save the changes, WordPress does report as the setting being successfully applied, but on the next reload, the setting shows as disabled.

Is there some kind of bug as currently there is not cache being utilized on the WordPress admin page. There is also no Object Cache plugin being utilized here.

Hi,
As far as we can determine, there is no bug in the theme related to this behavior.
Please create a full backup of your website and then contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, providing your wp-admin and cPanel or FTP access details. Our team will investigate the issue as soon as possible.
Thank you!
