I just updated from version 4 to the latest version of Newspaper 6 by deleting the Newspaper folder from wp-content and then uploading the Newspaper folder from scratch.
Whilst my site now loads in a broken fashion, I can no longer access epictutorials.com/wp-admin – I just get a white page. Please help!

I tried disabling the Plugins folder via FTP – doing so results in this:
W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/epictu6/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/epictu6/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/external/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 2238
Remove (renaming) the advanced-cache.php does nothing.
Ok – after a reinstall of the theme I got the following error message when I load epictutorials.com/wp-admin:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/epictu6/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/external/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 1551
The website loads… but has errors: http://epictutorials.com

Ok after much messing around I finally fixed this issue.
I realised the class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on my server only had half the number of lines of code that the Newspaper download had – just reuploaded this file and BOOM! Working.
Also good to turn off all caching before doing any updates.
