Am I able to remove art-thumb, art-wide, and other art-x media sizes?

Hello, I updated to Newspaper 6 from Newspaper 4. From what I can see, all of the “art-x” image sizes are no longer used and now deprecated yet my wordpress is still creating files of those sizes every time I upload an image. Is it safe to remove all of those?

Hi,

Please make sure that you do a clean install of Newspaper 6 like it is suggested in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ as no old theme’s files should remain. Please note that Newspaper 6 is practically a new theme, all the code was rewritten and the old customizations(files customizations, custom css) will not work anymore. Thanks, I found problem was the old functions.php file had some image sizes from old theme. Just had to remove the code and resize the thumbs.
