Normally when there is an update of a theme, it appears in the WP admin area and I can just click it to install, etc. I purchased Newspaper 6 about a couple months ago and there have been 1-2 updates.
Will I be able to install it from the WP admin dashboard, or do I have to download the zip file and then upload it to the admin and then install it?
Lastly, I haven’t modified any child themes, etc, so will there be any errors created because of updating the theme? We had an issue with the featured images of posts not showing up and we had to run a ‘featured post plugin’. I would hate to have to redo that.

ThemeForest themes are not part of the WordPress repository, so they generally need to be updated manually.

Normally it should be error free if you do all the steps accordingly.
Be careful with using a lot of plugins because sometimes they can cause problems.
