Facebook social counter error

If you type this edited FB ID in the link works but it doesn’t show the correct number of Likes:
pages/Facebook-Page-ID/134388777807

If you type this in it’s the opposite, the correct number of Likes shows but you can’t click through to the correct FB page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Facebook-Page-ID/134388777807

(note this is a made-up FB id)

I redownload the plugin in your latest release, 5th April. The result still 0.
I did not know why the counter still malfunction. It is only for facebook, but twitter is ok.

But, at the next day, the counter stop. I retype URL again, the counter work again.
However, now the counter run again.

How about a page that needs to be 18+ (as we discuss alcohol) Our counter is 0 for FB even though we’re using the right ID.

Looks like it was the “Share Bar” (http://devgrow.com/sharebar-wordpress-plugin/) plugin which was impacting the big slider on the site. Do you have a recommendation of a plugin for a floating social signals share bar plugin which is compatible with Newspaper?

Also, is there any way to change the background on the big slide so it’s white?

we have tested the Newspaper theme only with out social counter, I don’t know what plugin to recommend ‘for floating social signals share bar’.

for the background of the big slide we don’t have an option to change the color of the background but probably a css solution can be provided.

Thanks Marius – I did the manual plugin delete of existing social counter and then upload new one, and it seems to be working fine, I will check in a few hours but thanks for this.
