Hey so I have a custom post type generated by a plugin named LearnDash. In my theme settings I have no sidebar as the default site wide. The problem is, I want a right sidebar for this custom post type, when I select the right sidebar in the post editor, then view, it is still no sidebar. But if I select the left sidebar in the post editor, then view, the left sidebar shows.
So to summarize, when I select the no sidebar or the right sidebar, I get no sidebar. If I select the left sidebar, I do get a sidebar. So I need the right sidebar selector to work.

If I set it manually to the left that works, but I need it on the right.

We have note tested custom post types created with LearnDash.We cannot assure it’s functionality or compatibility with our theme. You can try to create a CPT using the method provided by our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/ and see if the sidebar behaves the same way.
If you still want to use the plugin maybe you can find a solution online or contact the plugin developer to see if more people had this problem.
