I have bought newspaper but when trying to activate your child theme, my right sidebar does not appear in the proper place but instead is moved bellow to a left side.
I imagine some missing css in the child theme?
You can check my site here http://www.abcdobebe.com (the problem is with the sidebar with google ads.

I have checked your website and everything seems fine at the moment. The css should have nothing to do with it. It is loaded from the main theme if it’s not rewritten in the child theme. Please follow this guide to set up the child theme properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ Please make sure you keep the folder path as suggested in the guide.

It is ok now because I activate the main theme again.
The site is live so I can’t activate it with this solved.
I checked and I have the folder path correct.
I created Newspaper-child with the files you proposed on /code/ folder like it’s described here:

Now I’ve downloaded version 6.6.1 but how can I upgrade it from 6.6 to 6.6.1
the problem I see now is on the second page, the sidebar simple disapears when the child theme is activated.

You can update your theme to the latest version by using the method described here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Please update to version 6.6.2 if you updated WP to version 4.4 as this created a few error with the theme that we fixed in this version.
Please let us know if the errors are still there after updating your theme. Also update your child theme to the one that comes with the theme.
