In the widgets when I apply the block 7 and block 15 (not in others because I have not tried) I apply filter Category: (category). In principle, the post should only appear in that category as with the block 18 or block 9, these if filtered well and show no posts in other categories, but the block 7 and block 15 does not perform well the filter. I’ve tested on my side and everything works properly. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and try it again.

As you can see a category that does not belong to which I have indicated in the filter field (field Cartegory) is displayed.
