I know this may seem like a simple fix, however please bare with me as I am new to this. However whenever I click on a link, the words of that link turn white to red. Can you please tell me how to fix this? Thank you for your assistance.
I had a developer work on the site and I have noticed a number of things he messed up including the red letters mentioned above and the search bar is out of line. I tried to reinstall the template however it did not override the settings.
I would completely just delete the entire site and reinstall the theme however I have a number of posts on the site, and I already configured the homepage and menu. Can you please advise. The site is http://www.mainstrock.com.

If you need to reinstall the theme to bring it to the default values, you can simply delete the theme and install it again via ftp as the settings/ posts/ pages are kept in the database and will not get deleted.
You can follow this tutorial to install via ftp. You can update the theme with this occasion as you use an older version that has a few issues with the current version of WP. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and use the ftp method.
You also need to check the theme panel – custom code section to see if there is no custom code st in there that you might not want anymore.

Thank you for the quick reply. The any custom change I want to save is the login/register box. We had the “username” field taken out so people login in through their email instead of user name. Where can I find this file? I am assuming if I save this file before the the update, then upload the file after upload it should be good correct?

This actually depends on what file was modified. It is not as simple because if the file that you have customization in has been modified in the latest version, then you cannot replace the new file with your own as the code would be changed and the theme will not work anymore if you do so. In this case you will need to apply your customization again in the code, not just replace files. You will need to know exactly what was modified if you want to keep your modification in place. Unfortunately I cannot know how or where your modification was done.
I can only point out the file but I cannot know for sure if this file was modified or not.
