In fact, I had to include the whole URL: https://www.facebook.com/BUQUERO-756756017805016 and I had to update the Facebook URL field of the get_social_network_meta function on the td_block_social_counter.php file to make it work.

It’s working now!

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You can try this code, just enter it in Theme Panel->Custom Css

.td-post-source-via .td-post-small-box {
display: inline-block;
padding-right: 5px;
}

Result with code added – http://screencast.com/t/cAhpD29APL7q

Hello MAnGoost,

By default, the theme comes bundled with the default responsive mobile version. Also, if you install the mobile theme plugin, the mobile version will be enabled. So, if you want to come back, you simply disable the mobile theme plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive version.
However, if you want to change the name of “Latest Articles” on the homepage, you should edit the theme core file like as front-page.php file like this -> http://screencast.com/t/oRzgR3i71Vn Also, from there, if you want to change the block sorting, you should change here -> http://screencast.com/t/e1UKe7xnwUJ

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

It seems that due to some modifications the Block title font has a size of 20px which is making get cutoff because of the overflow property. You should lower the font-size to 19px and it will look good, or try this code in Theme panel->Custom Css that makes it just 1px smaller

.block-title > span {
font-size: 19px;
}

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, i just updated the plugin and now it is working fine.
One more question, why is the Facebook block is not showing the number of likes and showing fans instead?

Hello roqeem,

In order to remove more from author you can use 2 methods:

The css method:

.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}

or you can edit the theme files: comment out or delete this part: http://screencast.com/t/Okmq7lxTDzGd

For your second request, if you want to change the background-color for the Related Articles tab you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

.td-related-title .td-cur-simple-item {
background-color: red;
}

The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/mKqMSHeV

Thank you!

Hi,

Those blocks and content come predefined in the footer template style – http://screencast.com/t/fDW8huNUqzpK located here – http://screencast.com/t/ga1Ccgpk You can choose an empty template and add your own widgets like this – http://screencast.com/t/0nwjsd483v and further customize them – http://screencast.com/t/gFDxlkED

Thanks

Hi,

1) There is quite a distinct difference between block 5 and block 15. I;m not sure what you mean. You use block 5 there not 15. Here is how the 2 blocks display:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-5/
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-15/

2)That is a category archive, not a page. It shows all of the posts in that category in the module you select from the per category settings in the theme panel.

3)Again, it;s a category and there are no blocks on category pages. Please try to learn the wordpress functionality as a page is not = to a category. You cannot edit categories in visual composer. categories are handled differently: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/

If you are not sure if a page is a standard page or a category or a post simply hit right click and hit inspect in your browser. and you will see the class on the body like so: http://screencast.com/t/rJ4nBexhu and the category: http://screencast.com/t/LwXbe6aC9

Thank you!

Hello sportcomrunning,

I guess that you want to change the position of the featured image to be above the post title in Block 11, right? So, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to made this change, sorry! If you want to do this, you should alter the code from the corresponding file with this block like td_block_11.php -> http://screencast.com/t/Mk9CddJGH and td_module_10.php -> http://screencast.com/t/bEMqcnYy Please notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

Tried searching for solution but unable to find one.

When choosing Header Style 2 – Top Menus from the Theme Panel it displays as I would expect.

https://postimg.org/image/om8z6a9bb/

However when I select Header Style 1 – Default it displays as blocked highlighting rather than underlined as in Style 2.

https://postimg.org/image/vxe9y9ejd/

Do you know what the problem could be?

Thank you.

Hi, I’ve installed the custom block plugin to my Newspaper install so I can make a custom block.

I’ve successfully created the block, except I can’t make it be full width. It is stuck on the loop that created 4 interactions of the same code, I can’t make it a single…

Have a look at “Where have we been” on this page

Use FTP to delete / install plugin updates safely if your hosting/wordpress setup blocks the admin panel from deleting or installing files.

Many companies block certain websites based on safe browsing ratings, tagged as adult content, etc.

Nothing to do with theme.

This happens at MANY companies to block employees from wasting time at work, going to adult websites, etc.

You might look into things like adding a “web of trust” verification to your met data and rating meta data.

Welcome to the interwebs!

Hi,

I’m experiencing a problem setting the blocks on some page.

For instance:
1) https://anonymster.com/tutorials/ In this page I’ve set block N.5 but the result looks more more like N.15

2) https://anonymster.com/top-vpn/ This page has no block or BigGrid set. It displays anyway BigGrid 1.

3) https://anonymster.com/infographics/ This page has block 5 set but it displays BigGrid 1

Can anyone help on how to solve this issue?

Thanks

When I said “work computer,” I meant that it was being blocked by his company’s IT department. I’ve noticed that big bureaucracies sometimes have restrictive Internet controls. At a local hospital, for example, I wasn’t able to access Cloud9.

Hello bariton,

If you want to change the background color for this block you should change the RGBA value from the code below:

.td-grid-style-4 .entry-title {
background-color: rgba(0, 120, 215, 0.7);
}

Or simply, add your desired color, like -> red, blue, etc.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi there,

I need to change the background color in the block in my homepage anonymster.com
Right now on each picture the post title has a blue background. Where do I change this setting?

Thanks

Thank you! I wish you a happy new year as well.
If you want to make it bold you can add to the code a font-weight attribute.
Like so:
.block-title span, .block-title a {
background-color: transparent !important;
color: #222;
font-family:verdana;
font-size:15px;
font-weight:bold;
}

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, you can put it in the post template files with a do_shortcode function like so:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_trending_now tdc_css=""]'); ?>
Then place the code in the template files for each post style that you use:
http://screencast.com/t/0Xf8yeqAdkF

Thank you!

Hello sportcomrunning,

Please keep in mind that you can set your featured image on pages from WordPress, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Mjisg2RzwWBL and then, if you want to see all of these you should filter your block by pages, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/vJ8juLIxI

Hope this helps!
