It is a secure site for internal users right now. You won’t be able to view it. You have to log in.

Hi,

Can you please send an URL of your site so I can check.

Hi,

You can change it via CSS, just add this custom CSS:

.td_block_slide .item {
background-color: white !important;
}

..in Theme Panel > Custom CSS.

If this doesn’t work please send an URL of your site with an example.

Maybe it’s simple , but I don’t get it..

How do I setup teaser’s correctly? I am using Block-View 8 on frontpage. The Goal i need is a separate 180-character teaser for every article. So i’m using both tags <!–more–><!–noteaser–> , but unfortunately it does load text from the article on the teaser at frontpage.

How can I deny to load content-text after the teaser’s end at frontpage blockview 8?

Screenshot Explanation: http://i61.tinypic.com/qn3ayq.jpg

What i’m doing wrong?

Hello. As far as I understand, embedded videos stick to some rules, that I do not need (size, alignment). Where are these rules and how can I remove them? I want to embed everything on my own, with my own html codes, thumbs, etc.

And question 2 is just a query. On some sites, I see that youtube videos have no ads, although it is there when I embed same video on my site. So there is DEFINITELY some script or plugin out there that blocks the ads for embedded videos. May be you know one?

Also my sidebar is not loading properly. I have Block 4 in the widget sidebar. But for some reason , the video thumbnails are not showing on the right..

Hi !

I have a pinterest button that I can’t remove. Impossible to find where it comes from. I checked the theme settings, my plugins, tried to disable most of them, it’s stille there.

Here is the code when I inspect the element :

<span style=”height: 20px; width: 40px; min-height: 20px; min-width: 40px; position: absolute; opacity: 0.85; z-index: 8675309; display: block; cursor: pointer; top: 282px; left: 185px; background-image: url(data:image/png;base64,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);”></span>

Hello,

I don’t use “views, publish date, comments icons” between the headline and content excerpt for these blocks. How can I decrease the space between them or move the content excerpt upwards so that it is closer to the headline?

Many thanks for your on-going support.

Wait.. I spoke too soon. Sorry

GOOD — The Twitter “Tweet this” works great.

BAD — The Facebook “Share this” does not work. The URL is cut off for the homepage. It only shows this… http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=/ BUT… The Facebook “Share this” works fine on internal pages.

Any idea what’s going on here?

PERFECT! Thank you so much. It works great.

Hi,

Please add this code: http://pastebin.com/Pjjxr6bn like here: http://screencast.com/t/vEwlVMtn

Also add this custom CSS in Theme Panel > Custom CSS:

.td_mod6 .thumb-wrap {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}

.td_mod6 .td-social-sharing-buttons {
width: 50%;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
}

Result: http://screencast.com/t/fh1uw13KQsQn

Thanks

Can we just add this code from the social sharing? Or can you help modify that for us?

<?php echo $this->get_image(‘art-wide’);?>
<?php echo $this->get_social_sharing();?>
<?php echo $this->get_title(td_util::get_option(‘tds_mod6_title_excerpt’));?>

Hi,

Sorry for the delay,

Yes you must place your code there but keep in mind that it’s not an easy task and if you don’t know how to do it probably it would be best to hire a freelancer to that for you.

Thanks for your message

Hi,

I have a solution inside the functions.php but I am not happy with the CSS reload.

Anyone has a more elegant way?

function custom_page() {
if (is_page()) {
echo ‘<style type=”text/css”>
.entry-crumbs {
display:none
}
</style>’;
}
echo ‘<style type=”text/css”>
.container-fluid {
margin-top: -15px
}
</style>’;
}
add_action(‘wp_head’, ‘custom_page’);

Thank you,

iip

Would it be td_module_6.php? Something like this?

<?php echo $this->get_image(‘art-wide’);?>
INSERT MY CODE HERE???
<?php echo $this->get_title(td_util::get_option(‘tds_mod6_title_excerpt’));?>

Any suggestions please. I really need to get something for this today. Sorry for the rush.

Just point me to the file I should be editing.

Thanks again.

Hi,

You can change it via CSS, just add this custom CSS:

.td_block_slide .item {
background-color: aqua !important;
}

..in Theme Panel > Custom CSS.

Here I have change on your site, simply replace the color with your own: http://screencast.com/t/thHEAxC5Auqe

Also if you want you can use this CSS to stretch the images to fill the whole container.

.iosSlider .entry-thumb {
width: 100%;
}

..like this: http://screencast.com/t/MeSeSF1Z

Hope this helps!

Thanks
