Hi,

I see a space between the logo and the menu – https://prnt.sc/pqnwkv From what I can tell the logo used has a height of 240px, while the background is 190px
https://prnt.sc/pqnxef
That is creating the space. The background image height is not enough, should be bigger or similar to the logo image height.
You could use a logo with a height of 190px or use a backgroudn imaeg with a bigger height.

Or you could use some CSS to reduce the logo height – https://prnt.sc/pqnzxy
Here is the code if you would like to give it a try

.td-header-style-10 .td-header-sp-logo img {
max-height: 190px;
}

Thanks

Dear support,

I would like to use a different mobile menu than the main menu, but I would not like to use the AMP-plugin, since it messes up the design. When “AMP” only is chosen, the mobile menu reverts to the main menu, not the mobile menu. How do I proceed? Also, how do I get the action buttons to display (some how) in mobile view. The action buttons in the header are visible in desktop mode.

Kind regards,

Peter

Hi,

A cloud header template can be customized for all it’s 4 stages:
Default desktop – https://prnt.sc/pqlxwc
Sticky desktop – https://prnt.sc/pqly2j
Default mobile – https://prnt.sc/pqlybd
Sticky mobile – https://prnt.sc/pqlyh8

This can be done using the header manager – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
Please edit the cloud header you are using and customize these states as you want
https://prnt.sc/pqm0e3
Please let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

Making a cloud header sticky is possible. The elements you use in the default header can be the same or different than the sticky version.
To edit the sticky version of a cloud header, activate the sticky mode in the composer
https://prnt.sc/pqiquf
Then add the elements you want in the sticky header. If there are no elements, the header will not be sticky.
Same for mobile – https://prnt.sc/pqirba

Note that in the composer you can copy paste elements, through the right-click menu
https://prnt.sc/pqis0y
This would be useful if you want to use the same elements from the normal header, in the sticky header.

Hi,

Something must have happened with it, a last addition of an element perhaps in it. I would suggest to edit it normally and try to restore an older revision. For example
https://prnt.sc/pqigie -> https://prnt.sc/pqigps
That will return the header to a previous version, hopefully when it worked. Let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

You could import and inspect a ready made cloud header template
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
The columns by default will stack one above the others on mobile, but they can be made to display inline.
A mobile menu with 3 inline columns (usually menu + logo + search) can be made like this:

First column – https://prnt.sc/pqi5k3
Second – https://prnt.sc/pqi5or
Third – https://prnt.sc/pqi5tm

All the 3 columns have to be set to display inline block – https://prnt.sc/pqi6xj
Maybe I missed something, if you need help or you have more questions let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

So something like this? – https://prnt.sc/pqhrpp This code should do it

.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu > li {
float: none;
display: inline;
}

It can be entered in the theme panel custom CSS section. I can modify it if needed.

Thanks

Hi,
using the header manager to install cloud templates I found a problem. When I switch the site in mobile mode suddenly the default setting from the demo appear. Look here: https://opposition24.com/startseite-2/ Is there a workaround to fix this bug?

I either changed a setting or something broke on my header main menu. My sticky menu looks fine, but when I first load any post/page, the header no longer has a transparent divider. Instead of having a nice transition over the featured image, it has a divider sitting over white space, then the image starts abrubtly after it. It looks bad and I have tried everything in the TAGDIV composer to fix it.

Here is what the menu looks like on the theme’s demo page: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_life_news/2019/02/15/this-a55-bag-is-fast-becoming-part-of-the-it-girl-uniform/

Here is what the menu looks like at the top of my page: http://13w.e3a.myftpupload.com/2019/10/offset-shares-a-video-of-cardi-b-giving-birth-to-baby-kulture-2/

You can see that my menu has a block gray box above the image, whereas the top menu on the demo looks transparent below the menu and has a much nicer transition.

Thanks,

Dan

Is there a solution to this problem? Because I have the same issue. The mobile theme header pushes the menu button and the search button to close to the logo. On the responsive design header, everything looks good. Exactly the same problem as you can see here: https://imgur.com/0eKnaO2

Here is the problem with the Header Manager.
– The left and right border of it didn’t stretch to the end and of direction like the normal menu

Normal Menu: https://ibb.co/TgKYfjs
Header Manager: https://ibb.co/bdNxBCM

As you can see in the picture, it’s not the same. Can I just have the option to make the normal menu sticky? Or can I insert any code to make it sticky?

Hi.
When I try to edit our TagDiv Clould Header Template 3 (after it’s been working for several months), I’m getting the following error when trying to edit it:

Error at zones: 5(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

Screenshot:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k8puu77lgq3smdq/Screenshot%202019-10-30%2010.37.45.png?dl=0

Is there a way we can see what the problem is? I know TagDiv has helped us on this before. We’d like to be able to fix these errors ourselves if possible.

Can you please assist?

Many thanks!

Hi,

I’m having an issue with recreating a mobile header that can fit “mobile search icon”, “header logo”, and “mobile menu” in one single row. For some reason, when I create a three column row, the rows are being stacked on top of one another so it’s giving the effect of three separate rows instead of one row with three columns. Any idea why this may be happening for me?

I am not doing this. I am using the element called “header main menu” at the top of a page but in the body of the page not in the header section.
I would like to centre align this menu with the body of the page. You can see the menu here: https://staging.quadris.co.uk/solutions/

…and I don’t think the problem is the color, it seems like there is an actual gap between the header and the featured image. But keep in mind, this came straight from the installation on a brand new and empty website…so I wasn’t messing around with it.

Hi,

That is the background color from the header zone, in order to change it you’ll need to edit the header, click on header menu -> http://prntscr.com/pq22e3 and check the css tab -> http://prntscr.com/pq22m7 -> http://prntscr.com/pq232b

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately on category page you can change the background color only with custom css -> http://prntscr.com/pq1kyz, if there is still a problem, please provide me a link where I can check your categories.
.td-subcategory-header .td-category a{
background-color: #f22;
color: #fff;
}
.td_category_template_1 .td-category-header .entry-title span {
background-color: #2f2;
}

The code need to be set in Theme panel> Custom code> Custom css

Hi,

If you have set a header from tagDiv Cloud Library , you need to edit that header template using header manager -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FkAe80JsuCo check the sticky menu, scroll until you see the sticky menu and click the menu and logo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o6Z8zoJoWbFY -> http://prntscr.com/po2fub -> http://prntscr.com/po2g2q or you can simply delete the row from header menu sticky.

Thank you!

Hello !

When using Cloud Template header the sticky header must be edited with tagDiv Composer Header Manager and you can set it up from here. If it is empty you will have to add content in it in order to display: https://www.screencast.com/t/Bzi8kbneOKQc
