So, still have two rows menu in other pages i removed the absolute position from .td-header-wrap.td-header-style-5 because cuts my website from top. what can i do

About the title lenght, you did not understand me. It’s not that, it’s just the screen cuts the text on the right border. On this image you can see what’s happening:

There you can see on the right border the text is cut.

One last thing, about the post author on the header of a post, the post author doesn’t appear in the middle, and I would like it to appear in the middle. Check this image:

Thanks, that works for the menu header on all screen sizes, but not when the menu header becomes sticky.

Dear Simion,

OK…I found a bit of code post on March 10 and that seemed to do make the logo large when used with Header Style 1. Great!

Now…How to I remove that banner adv from the header area? I do not need to use banner adv on this website.

This theme is absolutely useless for the garbage.

1. Not tested with SEO Tool
Your webpage is using 46 inline CSS styles!

a lot of unnecessary code #bbpress-forums li.bbp-header ……

2. No useful Blocks with text only / for example
Block16 (Titel + Text – no image)

It is only colorful but the essential is the text….

3. Always the hint at dashboard, to register the WPBakery Visual Composer module.

Google, Bing etc. offer these tools, because without clean code these search engines do not index the pages and this is essential.

This theme can only be rated with a star, only colorful but without the most important points.

Dear Simion,

Thank you for your response. I tried it but it was not successful.

When I pasted the code into the theme there were several error messages including:

Use of !important
Don’t use adjoining classes

From what I’m reading in this forum, this theme only lets you have a 300 px wide logo (not ideal our logo which is long and thin). And it forces you to have a banner adv in the header. If we try to modify the code, it will ruin the theme.

Maybe the best thing for us is to buy a different theme that gives more space for the logo and doesn’t have a fix position for an adv.

Hello,

It seems that the maximum width of the logo on Newspaper theme can be 300 px.

Please point me to what code needs to be fixed to:

1. Remove the advertisement from the header (we aren’t not going to use Google Adsense)

2. Increase the maximum size of the logo to 600 px (without the adv banner there will be space for our logo.

Hello,

If you want to add the exact same shadow as the header style 1 shadow, you can use a biox shadow like so:
.td-header-menu-wrap-full{
-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);
-moz-box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);
box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.

Hi,

Try this modified code, it should work properly now on every page

}

height: 60px!important;
}
.td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {

}

You can also modify the margin left set on the logo, if you want to position the menu differently.

Logo is too small in header – tried all header styles - topic

I have read the forum discussions and tried to use all the different header styles. Still, my logo is always reduced to about 300 px wide. I uploaded logos as wide as 1000 px, select header style #10, still is very small.

Hi,

You can try this code for the color below the header menu, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom css and change the color to what you want to use

.td-magazine .td-header-style-1
.td-header-gradient::before {
background-color: red;
}

And this one for the top menu border if you want

.td-magazine .td-header-style-1
.td-header-top-menu-full {
border-top-color: red;
}

Google ads not showing up - reply

Hello Soothsayer,

Notice that our theme only take the Google Adsense and display it on the frontend. The theme does not change the structure of it. Please ensure that you have correctly setup your Ads according to our useful guide which can be read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
Also, if the problem is still there, it seems that your Ads to have some problems. I suggest you contact the Google Adsense departments and tell the problem. They should be able to provide a more accurate response/solution in this regard.

Hi,

As I said this is not an easy task, and even if you can manage to do something like this, it would take extensive testing and you would have to take in account multiple elements. Here is a custom code that seems to work for now, I suggest you enter it in Theme panel->Advanced Css in the desktop section – https://www.screencast.com/t/LswxcxYy The code may need additional modifications in the future because problems could arrive, since the header style is not supposed to display like this.

Hi,

There is no theme option to display the top menu on mobile at the moment. You could however try this custom code, enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css->Advanced Css – https://www.screencast.com/t/CUAGr6oBeD

Hello,

You can try to add a bottom border to the main menu like so:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-header-wrap{
border-bottom: 2px solid grey!important;
}}
Add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.
You can change the color of the border to one you prefer.

WP Google Map Pro Plugin Jquery - topic

Hi

The plugin WP Google Map Pro creates maps from the Google API. I have installed it and created a map, then placed the shortcode for it in a test post. The post will not render the map.

In WP Google Map Pro’s troubleshooting, they ask if JQuery is working. They instruct for this line to be inserted in Header.php:

They instruct:

o Log into the admin section of your WordPress site.
o Locate the Appearance link in the left navigation panel and click on “Editor”
o Locate the “header.php” file in the list on the right side of the page and click on it
o Find the line “wp_head();” and just above it,
o paste the following line of code:
<? php wp_enqueue_script(“jquery”); ?>

This completely screws up the website. Can you offer some ideas? I get this page error (on my map test post) in a chrome browser: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

hi,

#1 how can i display an ad on category page, just above the ” CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE ” … on category template header would be nice to have an option to add and ad… just like we have for ” DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE ” with style 13 and 12 …

#2 cannot display the date in modules 16, 10 and 19…and grid 10 .. in Meta info on Modules/Blocks settings i did enabled ” SHOW DATE Enable or disable the post date (on blocks and modules) ” …

I am wanting to display the Top Header Menu on the mobile version of the theme but i don’t see where i can do this. Is this even possible to do? If not, could you guys try making that an option for the next theme update? thanks for the help!

Hi, just purchased the Newspaper theme a few days ago…everything looks good, but I have a question about the Mobile Menu Header. I’ve noticed that it blends in with the footer as both are the same color. Is there some custom code that I could enter that would put a shadow under it like it does when you choose the default header style. Hi,
I already have the featured image set, but when i add the code via a plugin on the header or through the theme panel i loose the featured images.So far i have uninstalled the plugin and removed the code from your custom code panel.
