Avast often has false positives; which is why we don’t use it anymore. And, we had two machines infected while running their most expensive platform. We switched to Malwarebytes Anti-malware Premium, along with the builtin security on Windows 7 and have zero problems and it only catches “real” threats.
Note the big button “upgrade now” .. funny how they discovered something which wants to sell you an upgrade?
If you ran other anti-virus scans and threat checkers, and got nothing that should tell you something.
We’ve been using this theme a year, manage our own server, and have ZERO security issues.
THERE IS a known cross-site scripting flaw in WordPress 3.9 (prior to 4.0), which you should have already addressed by clean install. Some third party plugins can also become corrupted. We had that happen to one of our sites recently, where ironically fast secure contact form, was in fact not secure (!).
Point being, I don’t personally trust Avast on this kind of thing.
Hi,
I think I posted something in another post tonight about un-installing demo content.
One of the reasons I don’t personally use shortcodes as they tend to be theme-specific vs “generic” as you might find with bootstrap elements (which is why I use those or nothing!).
You might have to do a dbase search/replace to replace shortcodes, and there are some posts in the forum you would have to search for to find those, unless another kind soul chimes in here.
Regular tech support folk don’t work weekends …. so usually it’s us folk who pop in and comment based on our own past experience who help out from time to time (I’m waiting for a scan of my system checking for malware … hence sitting here doing nothing …)
Hope some of that helped (likely not).
Also check your Google Webmaster Tools account, as Google will also “tag” your site if it sees any malware/hacked pages.

And frankly if your hosting company isn’t using a virus scanner it is likely a good idea to look at another host!
You should contact your hosting provider if you suspect a virus or malware on your website, as that is unrelated to the theme, and should be addressed immediately if your website is compromised in some way.
Also, remove any suspect plugins which are not included with the theme, as some plugins are known to be easily hacked, or are released online outside of the official WordPress.org repository, and may be malware themselves.
