Hello,

The mining of those option
mobile – will be display only mobile theme without amp
AMP + mobile – will be display the mobile theme and amp
AMP – will be display the responsive version of theme and amp
The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

If there is still a problem with your footer, please provide me a link where I can check this problem.

The last question regarding the changes that take some time until appear, is because you or your host are using a cache plugin, make sure that you clear all cache after you make any changes in theme panel, post pages …

Thank you!

Still .. WHY ??? im in over my head with frustrations over this
Everything changes when i scroll and i have to do everything in the header over again .. and even on mobile i have to do it again .. again ..and again .
Would have been nice if you made the theme somewhat more intuitive and easy to use.
But at least the footer doesnt change when scrolling down… my compliments on that at least.
And finally , after hours when i think i got it right .. i find out that ALL text is gone.

Hi,

That was the implementation for classic editor, the button color will be the accent color of the theme, using the Gutenberg editor you can choose the the color -> http://prntscr.com/p11k7j using the classic editor you need to set the background how I said above.

If you are not using the mobile theme, you can set the code in Theme panel> Custom code> Custom css and the code will be apply on all displays/device.

Thank you!

Hello !

If you are talking about why the layout is not the same. The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

Unfortunately you cannot have the design you want. If you disable the mobile theme you will have the same layout as on desktop.

Find out more about the Mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

The message you get is because you have not set any menus for your mobile menu. You will have to go into Appearance – Menus – Manage Locations and set all the menus required !

Thank you !

As I finished making edits to my site, I logged onto my phone to see how it looked and it’s completeley different to the whole theme I created. I go back into the backend yet is’t still the same as the edits I made. This is very confusing.
When I go up to the hamburger menu on my mobile, it asks me to login to use the WP menu builder…?

Hi,

We recommend to use the mobile theme plugin with amp plugin, in this way the amp will have the mobile theme layout, from mobile theme you can change the only mobile, both or only amp, you can check more here.
This option is an individual option http://prntscr.com/p0rhm5 maybe you do not want to have a post or page in amp version and the options from amp plugin http://prntscr.com/p0ri6h indicate on what will be apply the amp, on pages, posts, etc.
-> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Thanks for your reply Calin but it seems that you didn’t see my second message: the theme color applies instead of the one I chose (talking about the main color, not the hover one). What’s the problem? Can you help me fixing it?

Moreover, do I have to paste your CSS code on both Custom Code (desktop) and Mobile in the Theme Panel or just in the desktop field?

Thanks

I’m currently in the process of trying to turn on AMP while still having my pages displayed nicely on mobile. I’m quite confused with it all because from what I’ve found there’s 4 different places to “switch on” AMP.

1. In the Theme Panel –> mobile theme there’s 3 options for mobile, mobile + AMP, and AMP
2. In pages there’s options on the sidebar to enable/disable both AMP and mobile theme
3. In individual posts there’s the same options as the pages
4. When clicking on the AMP plugin on the left hand sidebar there’s also the options to turn on and off the supported templates.

What’s the difference between mobile theme vs AMP theme? I’m assuming AMP is simply a faster version of mobile theme, but I haven’t been able to see any differences visually.
Also I’m confused why point 1. above has an option “mobile + AMP”.

I’m also assuming that to have AMP working correctly I should enable it on all four options above. From the right hand sidebar in pages and posts, do I need to switch on/off the mobile template? Or does that not matter if I have my mobile theme set to “AMP” only vs “AMP + mobile”?

Thanks

We are using the Mobile + AMP setting. The header ad is a responsive one from AdSense, but the mobile theme does not move up when it’s a square ad compared to a more vertical ad. There is a big white space underneath it. Is there anything we can do about this?

Hi – I changed my category names in the Posts–>Categories menu of the native wordpress, but they do not update in the very top categories list. It is still the default theme categories. The new categories show up elsewhere in the composer as options. I tried deleting the cache, shift-refresh, etc.

As far as I can tell from the source, this part is not updating:

<!-- menu section -->
<div class="td-mobile-content">
<div class="menu-td-demo-header-menu-container"><ul id="menu-td-demo-header-menu" class="td-mobile-main-menu"><li id="menu-item-251" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-home current-menu-item page_item page-item-250 current_page_item menu-item-first menu-item-251">Home
<li id="menu-item-252" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-252">World
<li id="menu-item-253" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-253">Lifestyle
<li id="menu-item-254" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-254">Fashion
<li id="menu-item-255" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-255">Sport
<li id="menu-item-256" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-256">Music
<li id="menu-item-257" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-has-children menu-item-257">More<i class="td-icon-menu-right td-element-after"></i>
<ul class="sub-menu">
<li id="menu-item-258" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-258">Food & Recipes
<li id="menu-item-259" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-259">Photography
<li id="menu-item-260" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-260">Recipes
<li id="menu-item-261" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-261">Travel
<li id="menu-item-262" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-262">Arts

Any help to get these updated categories to show up would be appreciated.

Hi, I am using the regular template and letting it adjust for mobile – yes the sidebar drops below the content. What is the mobile theme? Is that something that comes with the template? Here’s the temp site, when I inspect it in a browser on mobile mode check sidebar ..

Hello !

On our demo the Mobile theme is not active. You can simply deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin and you will have the same layout.

Thank you !
