What did the support for ‘Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin’ have to say?

I hope you are well.
I have already removed the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin, and I’ve also removed the Token and Site Key from the dashboard and Google Console. Additionally, I cleared all caches (WP Super Cache) and my browser cache.
However, my domain (nagorik.com) is still showing the “I am not a robot” reCAPTCHA challenge.
How can I remove or stop this?

I believe that it is an error related to the recaptcha, please check the settings for the recaptcha you are using and this should resolve the problem.

If you have a create account form in any normal place that is default in WordPress and not sandboxed in some way then anybody can create an account as subscriber.
(e.g., http://yourdomain/wp-login.php?action=register )
a) open the WordPress dashboard and click Settings » General. Find the Membership setting and uncheck Anyone Can Register.
b) use Akisment to block known bots on forms
c) use hCaptcha / recaptcha on any forms
d) if you use server side reporting, look for the IP(s) hitting your site 7,000 times and block at hosting level or via htaccess, firewall etc.

Je rencontre actuellement des problèmes importants de spam avec les inscriptions utilisateurs sur mon site WordPress utilisant le thème Newspaper. Les utilisateurs peuvent s’inscrire en utilisant des adresses e-mail fictives ou incorrectes sans aucune vérification. Voici les problèmes spécifiques que j’ai identifiés :
Absence de Vérification d’Adresse E-mail à la Création de Compte via la Fenêtre Modale :
Les utilisateurs peuvent s’inscrire via la fenêtre modale intégrée au thème Newspaper sans qu’une vérification d’adresse e-mail ne soit requise. Cela permet à des inscriptions frauduleuses ou automatisées de se produire sans restriction. Ce comportement est très problématique pour la gestion des utilisateurs et la sécurité de mon site.
Validation reCAPTCHA Inefficace :
Bien que j’aie configuré reCAPTCHA via le backend du thème Newspaper pour protéger les formulaires d’inscription, il semble que la validation ne fonctionne pas correctement. Des inscriptions automatiques par des bots continuent de se produire malgré l’activation de cette protection.
Ces deux problèmes exposent mon site à un risque accru de spam et compromettent l’intégrité de ma base de données utilisateurs.
Je vous serais reconnaissant de bien vouloir m’indiquer s’il existe des solutions spécifiques ou des mises à jour pour résoudre ces problèmes, ou si vous pouvez me recommander des ajustements particuliers à apporter à la configuration actuelle du thème.

I checked the changes that have been made for the last update and non of them are not related to reCAPTCHA. I also created a test and at least for me seems to be ok, but I will doble check to see if there are some situations when this problem can appear.

we realised that after the last Newsmag update on our site travelandspa.it the popup login no longer works
due to a reCAPTCHA validation error. The problem does not occur with EDD login shortcodes
which are similarly protected by reCAPTCHA. From the administration panel of reCAPTCHA we regularly see logins made by EDD shortcodes. This is therefore not a configuration problem (the two keys are entered correctly and have always worked).
What can this depend on?

Figured it out. It was a conflict with a ReCAPTCHA plugin.

Hi Anamarie, Thanks but it doesn’t seem to work. I get a connected motion and it returns me to the page where it says not connected.
The domain the theme and wordpress is installed on is a subdomain. idc.oceantribe.co . Could that be an issue as I know it is with recaptcha?

Any free signup page will be hit by bots.

Yes, only according to many reviews Turnstile Cloudflare is much better than Google’s Recaptcha.

I tried many times with score 0.5 for recaptcha.
But the login menu still does not allow to login with RECAPTCHA verification failed error on the error message as you can see.

Please read the issue article from Google recaptcha about this token.
I am wondering if there is a missing point on prorgram source code.

I am struggleing wiht recaptcha verification failed error.
Please see the image. Even if I setup RECAPTCHA USER SCORE LIMIT with zero (0), login is faield with Recaptcha verification failed error message. How can I solve this issue?
