1 Pixel Border on Header and Footer (CSS issue in Safari?)

Hi there – I’m noticing a 1px white border on the right side of my full-width header (based on the Pulses Pro template, black bar at the very top) since the most recent update.

It only happens in Safari (desktop) – I don’t see the same issue in Chrome.

Screenshots: https://d.pr/i/BLot0h and https://d.pr/i/7DgD7y

I’ve also noticed it on a couple of the other templates and even some pages on the tagdiv site:

https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech_news_pro/ << 1 px on right side of header and footer in desktop size
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pulses_pro/ << 1 px on right side of header submenu in desktop size
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_life_news/ << 1 px on right side of header submenu in desktop size
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_covid19_news_pro/ << 1 px on bottom of footer in mobile

https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/ << release notes page has a 1px border on the right side of the header and footer
https://tagdiv.com << same here

I see that the latest version 10.3.2 had a fix for “iPhone 1px background off css issue” which fixed some similar issues I was seeing on my phone – but it may have caused additional issues in Safari desktop?

Is there a simple fix I can apply to clean these up?

Thx!

Hi,

Unfortunately in this moment we can not provide a fix for the safari issue, we are working from home to stay safe and we do not have the necessary devices (Mac) to make a test and provide a fix, sorry!
I will ad it on our fix list and our developers will take care of in for the coming update.

Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
